Peter Gaydon, the HS/2 liaison for Moreton Pinkney has reported the following local disruption:-
There will be a closure between Bulls Lane and Magpie Junction for 4 weeks and 24 hours per day with a start date of 25th October and completion on 1st December - though the notice allows for an extension beyond this date as required. It is with great sadness that the Parish Council reports the passing of Dixie Hughes after many years as a Councillor and Parish Chairman. Dixie was one of the village's characters and will be greatly missed. The Council offers its support and prayers to Roma and the family. Bill Dearns, Parish Council Chairman.
