Village Litter Pick on Sun 3rd April
Bill Dearns has arranged to borrow the Daventry litter picking kits on Sunday 3rd April. Meeting at the village hall for bacon butties at 9.30; with complimentary drinks available afterwards from 12 noon. All are welcome to help tidy the village and its approaches.

Upgraded Zoll Defibrillator on the Village Hall
The Parish Council has used £1,000 of its CIL monies to upgrade the Defibrillator mounted upon the Preston Capes village hall.

Banbury Lane, Lower Thorpe Mandeville closed 9 March
Following our utility trial hole surveys in December 2021, we now have confirmed dates for the Banbury Lane closure to complete our highway crossing.

HS/2 delays on A361 for 6 weeks
There will be a traffic management scheme on the A361 on the Byfield Road in Chipping Warden for approximately 6 weeks from Monday January 24th.
There will be a two way traffic light operation throughout this period operating 24/5 with additional weekend working as required. Drivers using this road are advised to allow extra time for their journey.

HS/2 disruption near Thorpe Mandeville late Oct+
Peter Gaydon, the HS/2 liaison for Moreton Pinkney has reported the following local disruption:-
There will be a closure between Bulls Lane and Magpie Junction for 4 weeks and 24 hours per day with a start date of 25th October and completion on 1st December - though the notice allows for an extension beyond this date as required.
